Fancify

 Mars Wrigley is launching a new, yogurt coated Skittles product. Sounds delicious, right?

I wrote a brief about how the addition of a seemingly random layer can make products that don’t have any business being fancy, feel fancy. From artisanal pickles to pretzels, the idea that every grocery store staple now had a “fancier option” meant this trend was worthy of some Skittles subversion.

So, we went off and thought about how Skittles could use their new yogurty layer to take the piss out of this whole fancy trend. We ended up selling an ad about a nouveau riche teenager with a yogurt boy in his kitchen…
